THE FIRM’S HISTORY
For Claimants
We have been established for over 20 years we have become experts in dealing with claims
and have recovered hundreds of thousands of pounds on behalf of clients, many of whom are taxi drivers and taxi firms, who
may have otherwise lost out.
Even those with existing legal expense insurance policies have
found we are far more effective, because we are local, always available, and not an anonymous distant figure working for a
large company.
With accidents that are not clear-cut and where liability is
in dispute, we have produced plans and taken photographs, which have often resulted in the other insurance company then changing
its mind and paying the claim.
Where insurance companies have been reluctant
to meet the claim we have assisted clients by taking proceedings in the County Court - Small Claims Track (generally
where the sum claimed is less that £5,000), producing very effective results. As solicitors' costs normally cannot be claimed
in such cases we offer a real value alternative for those who would not have pursued such claims.
We work
on a “no win no fee” basis. We will agree a percentage fee in
advance, or a fixed fee if preferred, which we will then confirm in writing.
Our principal
is PETER WEBLEY LL.B. who is a law graduate with over 30 years experience in dealing
with insurance claims.
For the Insurance Industry
We assist
many Lloyd’s Syndicates and Insurance Companies with investigating accident claims.
We are
used to dealing with claims arising from road traffic accidents, including the taking of statements, the preparation of Locus
Reports and plans, and assisting generally with claims.
We know
the requirement for statements to now be in accordance with the Part 32 CPR, and are aware of the strict timetable now imposed
upon Insurers to complete investigations. By using digital photography we can respond with a locus report and photographs
by return if need be.
We can
investigate all aspects of a claim, and charge reasonable rates based only on the time spent. We can agree fixed fees beforehand
or overall fee limits if required.
